Experimentation lies at the heart of these workshops :
Participants will discover techniques ranging from DNA extraction to DNA analysis using laboratory equipment.
Several themes may be dealt with, such as genetic diseases, pre-natal diagnosis, DNA profiling, gene therapy and stem cells.
The aim is to inform as many people as possible about the “Science of DNA”, a topic which is evolving incredibly quickly, and to inspire career aspirations by presenting research and its related professions to student populations.
The DNA Learning Center is supported by
It is managed in line with an original concept as developed by the DNA Learning Centre in Nimes.
On October 10, 2011, The DNA Learning Center has been awarded the “Ile de Science” (second prize).
